That article is talking about other issue, which has some legit comments but the title is very extreme, so as to attract eyeballs.

Due to the registration requirment, I only read the free part but basically understand what the author was talking about. He meant people would no longer rely on VPN for their corporate IT security - which is rubbish. What coportate IT relys on VPN ONLY to secure their network? He talked about security breach from internal etc, certainly those are not the part VPN is supposed to counter against. VPN is only one part of the infrustructure security. Though it's true, when some business outsource their IT infrustructures to different cloud services, there is no VPN needed, as this part of security concern is taken over by the clould service providers. But in premise IT infrastructure will remain for longer than we can forsee. What's the relevance in this regard?

And your mentioning of "the only future for VPN is so kids can hide their IP whilst on their school internet" is about internet anonymity, which is nothing to do with the discussion here about VSN or VIN and the main stream of VPN applications.

Despite I put some strong words in my previous comments to yours, I feel you are a person could be reasoining with, and this is the only reason I respond to you. For other bullies, they are low and beyond salvaging, I only sneer at and don't bother to waste a word on them.
