Great posts - relevant and important points on KAL and reinforces that the gold was always a long-termer and many predict that by the time KAL is ready to start taking it out of the ground the price will more than make it viable.
The oppies situation is a major downer for the company IMO and if nothing is announced before expiry then obviously, as you said, they can kiss them goodbye. And that will hurt because, even if they don't need the cash, there is sure to be negative sentiment that will be placed on the stock and that must certainly affect the sp.
Clinker Hill really is a must and the drilling being brought forward supports the feeling that the company believes it too. IMO good news from there will offset any negativity. Therefore I suggest we will know a lot more very soon.
