I've been long BHP eto's (again) since early November when it was trading around $11.35.

Having weathered the fall to $10.65 I see it now going higher...at least to $12.00 and possibly testing the October $12.28 highs. I'm surprised how far this stock can move in one day...3%-5% increases/decreases are nothing out of the ordinary.

I was also surprised by its rise on Wednesday given the rising $Aust, BHP's poor performance on Tuesday night in London and the interest rate announcement.

I see BHP as a proxy for the state of the world economy (which imo will grow strongly over the next 12 months). I am also expecting more rotation out of property and into the share market (and speciifcally into bhp as one of the more obvious large caps).

    Cheers Ajax
