Violence including domestic violence is more than 30 times the incidence in Halls Creek
    than other Australian towns.

    IDIOTS

The idiots are calling for Culturally appropriate anti violence education

Of course it is the Culturally appropriate that got us here.

    The ABC says:

    • In short: Halls Creek's domestic violence rates are well above many other regional towns and cities in WA.
    • Indigenous advocates and frontline workers say a significant, culturally appropriate education campaign is needed to change young people's attitudes around violence.
    • What's next? The federal government says the Kimberley will be among 14 trial sites for a nation-wide early intervention program targeting young men.

Domestic violence in Australia has been described as a "crisis" and a "national emergency" by politicians and women's advocates — but what words sum up the situation in Halls Creek?

Rates of domestic violence in the small West Australian town of about 1,600 people are so high that offence numbers are more akin to those in a much larger regional centre.

According to WA Police's crime statistics, Halls Creek recorded 669 family assault offences in the last two years.

Accounting for population, it's a rate 20 times higher than Bunbury and six times that of Geraldton, the state's two largest regional cities.
