There are vaccines that are very effective, and some that are somewhat effective, and even some "vaccines" that are totally ineffective. The Astra-Zeneca "vaccine" the LNP government is pushing has been found to be "totally ineffective" against some emerging variants of COVID-19 now in Australia that came from South Africa (due to mining executives flying in/out). This was reported in multiple highly respected refereed medical journals and by the American Center for Disease Control.
I can understand that Australians are unwilling to take a "vaccine" with substantial health risks and no protection against emerging COVID-19 strains. Of course, the LNP "elite" all had the Pfizer vaccine long before front line health care workers and emergency service workers were vaccinated. In fact, even now, most emergency service workers remain unvaccinated and are only offered the near useless Astra-Zeneca.
