I can’t answer whether you are crazy, but I
wouldn’t worry about what everyone else is doing.
I would love to own WMI, but for me it’s always
been too expensive. The hardest thing I have
personally grappled with is whether to sell
LICs when they are over valued. I have come to
the conclusion that there are always opportunities
that come along so I sell and move on when
things become ridiculously priced.
Mind you , quality LICs at reasonable prices are
getting harder to find, and I have found with
Wilson’s stable you don’t get many chances to
enter at a reasonable price point.. If an LIC
outperforms and you reasonably think it will
continue too into the future, it may very well be
worth continuing to hold. It really is a personal
decision and one only you can answer.
