    'Temperatures vary. That is called weather' no need to be condescending, I am completely aware of that, perhaps much moreso than yourself.

    A once in a 100 year event is always going to be remarkable to MOST people. For example 'if we had a once in 100 year cyclone, most oil and gas installations in it's path would be destroyed'. Also what someone finds 'remarkable' is really an individual's own opinion.

    Most towns between Adelaide and Sydney have set new November maximum temperature records this last week - NOT NORMAL - NOT USUAL - UNUSUAL. What is the difference between 1894 and this time? Honestly don't know, I'm sceptical about global warming but not completely discounting it.

    BUT IT IS STILL SPRING!!
