The earth may be warming or cooling, which is not really the issue. The question is if us humans are having any effect. The earth has warmed and cooled many times in its 4.5 billion years of existance.
Billions of years. You would think that the earth has been through many many many (and many more) cycles in the past. Natural cycles are quite tricky, I would imagine.
I don't think 100 years of data proves anything at all. Heck, I am too lazy to calculate the miniscule percentage 100 years is from billions of years.
What I do know is that an ETS will make the rich richer and the poor poorer. People like Al Gore don't mind, as long as they get more $$$$. Nature is secondary to those kind of people. Yet many think of him as a really good guy. Yet he takes his jet to places, drives big gas guzzling cars and lives in a huge house. He really cares about his carbon footprint? It's probably as high as 10 people combines.
When will Michael Moore start hounding Al Gore is another question.
