You obviously know the site and your observations read like they are relevant especially if we are drilling within the existing past opencast areas, if this was new area discovered from ground level I’m thinking we simply start another opencast mine and over dig to account for any weak areas of land, but if we are drilling within existing open cut then going deeper may have is engineering problems.
Have you looked at the drill locations to see wether all or only some are effected, also the nickel price looks to be much higher now which should help cover any increased extraction costs provided there’s a workable engineering solution.
I would be rather surprised the Widgie team are not aware the problems you raise, or that they’re waste money on drill locations that couldn’t be mined so my guess is they are confident we can dig it out should it be there, Loop.
