I assume its the following

• Announcement incoming (Highly likely IMO.....)
• Mr Forrest has decided to buy into Nickel mines the old fashioned way
• Just a smart investor who has done their homework, in for the long-run

I don't like the sound of this one as I would prefer to hold until at least $4, means a shorter runway for investors before an exit, tho profits profit if you are in the green.

• Someone with some cash wants to profit from the next Nickel mine takeover (which is all the rage at the moment)

I haven't spotted anything like this on any other stock I watch, even more so at sub 100m market cap, tho I could be watching the wrong stocks.
