    Good post.

There are compelling reasons for Wienerberger to align themselves tightly to FBR.

One of the more interesting development - One German company has began 3D printing 3 Storey high apartment (Nov 2020).

    https://www.peri.com/en/media/press-releases/peri-builds-the-first-3d-printed-apartment-building-in-germany.html

This is a bit of a shock.

In previous AGMs / Roadshows Mike Pivac has said one of Hadrian's advantage over cement printers is that Hadrian can print / build beyond 1 storey. Because Hadrian doesnt have to wait for cement to cure and cement may not be able to bear the weight, while bricks can. This is no longer the case.

I was quite pissed with the 8x4 chassis upgrade. If you want it, why didnt you just use it from the start instead of the HX109 6x4 truck. Is it because they didnt anticipate the competition to build higher floors will come this early?

Wienerberger's main products are Wall / blocks / bricks. If 3D cement printing construction does come out in force, in the next few years, Wienerberger will be hit hard.

Go through their website, you will find that they make it a point to emphasis "innovation" and "digitalization" at every turn or corner.

So Its in definitely their interest that FBR and the Hadrian succeed. They need an answer to the cement printers. Likewise Xella.

Check FBR's facebook, one of the few people to congratulate FBR on the open house is Sebastian Van Droogenbroeck (Category Director Wienerberger AG). They are definitely keeping tabs on FBR.

On the global scale. What we are seeing now, across the US, Europe and other parts of the world, it is clear the 3D printing construction industry is beginning to take root. Is it going to be a fad or will it become a permanent fixture of the construction industry in the long term - we'll see.

It has caught the attention of the the World Economic Forum as well: https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2021/05/countries-3d-printing-new-homes/
    (May 2021)

Whatever it is over the next few years, this industry will definitely get its fair share of spotlight.

Just a few days back Softbank bought into a 3D printing company - their first. While this is not construction printing, it does say the real big names are finally turning their attention into this part of the investment world.

    https://3dprintingindustry.com/news/formlabs-raises-150m-bringing-value-to-2bn-but-taking-its-time-on-ipo-190395/

My guess is that in the next 3 years we will see a big name get behind of these 3D construction printing companies. Will it be FBR other than Wienerberger. Or one of these cement printers startups - who knows.

Comparing the cement printer vs Hadrian. Each has it plus and minus - another story by itself. I will keep it short.

The cement printers seem to cost alot less. The smaller ones just cost $35,000. And they are pretty commoditized - you can buy one of these printers from a number of companies, the other main inputs are cement and a few people to man it.

Cement characteristic is a big challenge, but over time, additive material science will improve and make the competition even harder for the Hadrian.
One drawback it seems is the scalability, you need a bigger house, you need a bigger printer.

Heres a list if cement printer in the market: https://www.aniwaa.com/buyers-guide/3d-printers/house-3d-printer-construction/

Hadrian is way more technologically advance, nimble, dexterous, can print from CAD and much more scalable with all sizes of jobs. But it cost a lot more. Just the 8x4 chassis cost about AUD $200K. AND THAT IS WHY WE PART WITH CAT AND HAVE WAAS. ( Apparently, people still talk about why no one "buys" the HX)

SP has began to drift down due to lack of news and silence. Im not perturb, just wondering when and how they get their first builder contract.

We already have proof of concept. The first product / house has just been sold. And I think its time to put those bashing "builders" on ignore for good. Once a big builder sign up, and orders are taken, its a signal we are beginning to exit the speccy end.

I think its only a matter of time before we get a local contract, even just a small one. Daveycrockett if you are reading this, appreciate you can give us an update with DA. Seems like it isnt happening in May either.

Even if no local signs up, its only matter of time Wienerberger or someone else does.
