bruceyg, my reference to fixed line was for the Wi-Fi (WAP), I was not referring to the 4G modem being connected to fixed line. The 4G modem in the picture has a wireless connection to the Telstra tower.
jantimot, you may need to check how the 2.4Ghz and 5.8Ghz network is deployed up to 60Km from the backbone.
It seems highly unlikely that a 2.4Ghz and 5.8Ghz high volume Internet network could operate over that distance.
Do you have a link to some info on the actual network or a starting point that I could find out more info?
