This Free Wi-Fi service is a value added customer service to all general public and is fully supported and funded by advertisers.
According to the Herald Sun's report issued on 3rd February 2012, more than 100,000 commuters a day will access Free Wi-Fi service at Flinders Street Station in Melbourne city.
Melbourne City will be the first city in Australia to be connected with Free Wi-Fi service on train station's platforms. This is supportive of the goals of the future Melbourne Plan of the City of Melbourne, to be a knowledge city, a creative city and a connected city.
With daily commuters over 500,000 people, upon full penetration the Metro Netbay Free Wi-Fi network will have monthly users cumulatively of over 15 million people. It represents a new and significant online platform for the promotion of and communication for the City of Melbourne for visitors, residents, businesses and merchants in the City of Melbourne.

Bad way to end the week with the close at 1.5 cents.
Not much love for GCN at the moment. We really need proof of how much money GCN can make from Free Wifi advertising.
IMHO Jam Factory launching next week won't shift the SP much. We need any one of the following to happen:
P1 Announcement of Prospectus lodged etc
FM Update / Good Announcement
Proof of Revenue (and it obviously being positive)
Announcements of substance is what is required.
P1 delays have been extremely frustrating.
I have only emailed P1 3 times this week asking for an update with no response.
Lets hope for a better week next week.
Cheers
