Sharp rallies are common in bear markets.

As a basic rule the minimum seems a day and a bit.

In other words the US markets should at least move higher in early going tonight and then the fun begins.

I have no idea if we have seen an important low or not.

Certainly a few criteria were met but I would have loved to see a monthly close lower than where we are.

If we don't then I think the longer term outlook actually becomes more bearish.
