I suppose when you look out your window you see queues of men desperately waiting for notice of a labouring job, or waiting n line at a soup kitchen to get food for their family?
Perhaps they hav packed all their meager possessions into the back of a wagon and are now joining a train of others pushing it through the Nullabor in a desperate attempt to get to the mining areas in Western Australia?
