401,062,500 shares on issue. BOC have kept this tight over the years. And no options - which often drag the share price down.

Now, ABG/PNG own 36.4% + 36.4% = 72.8% of BOC.

Leaving 27.2% of 401,062,500 = 109,089,000 BOC share in the free float. Not very many by anyone's standards.

The top ten as of the last report are all institutions. If they decide to not sell, shares could be very tight should demand kick up.

And yes, the pattern of trading is sure looking like stealthy accumulation. BOC isn't just about copper. There's as shedload of gold at Panguna , and boy, inst the gold price looking good!
