That open pit jorc (volume) was calculated when the copper price was about a dollar a pound and the gold price was about US$400 an ounce.
5 Mt of copper and 19 million ounces of gold identified in the jorc (pre 1989. Yes, it's been a while since then.).
So, not only have the prices of copper and gold appreciated immensurably - but at these higher prices a new jorc (which should come in when they do the new DFS, slated to be completed before end of 2026) will probably define a much larger number than 19 million ounces imo.

Copper has jumped to $4.24 per pound today with every analyst tipping copper as the go to metal of the future, and gold is holding at US$2300 (AUD$3500 per ounce sounds a lot better I might say).

There are one or two stale holders trying to get out at between 60c and 70c on market.
Why investors with a long term view aren't snapping these up is beyond me - it almost defies logic.
