What happens if we find out 20 years from now that CO2 isn't the cause of the changing climate and we gave up advancing technology unnecessarily and we don't have the tools to deal with that climate change when we could have? What happens if the climate suddenly flips towards an ice age and we don't have the energy required to live through that?
How do we even stop climate change if CO2 is the real cause without advancing technology?
