It could certainly provide some SP volatility. Against that positive, the comment by Citi that NP may come in a bit shy of expectations could put a brake on any rise. Personally I am expecting that results will be sound - not spectacular, but not a disaster. It is not just about sales growth - cost containment is just as important and hopefully containing costs has been and continues to be a focus.
The issue for Lew is whether the cash from Woolworths SA will be available soon enough IF he does want to gain a stranglehold on MYR.
