    fair enough I understand his association and attachment to Myers which was may years ago, but I don't see how you could possibly know what his current thoughts and feelings are in this regard now ...... my thoughts are that he is firstly a business man and as such he would be more attached to his money rater than persuing anything as risky as trying to revive an  outdated business model in an unkind market with very strong odds against its success.....  of course I don't have a clue as to what as to what his current sentiments are with regard to myer either..   

    on price - history is history...... the market puts a price on a stock based on its current and likely future earnings, it doesn't look backwards..... the current dvd yld. looks good I admit, but it is not much good to a shareholder if the value of his asset decreases...

    would agree that "its time is not necessarily up yet"  what I meant was that I see it as an outdated model and a diminishing force in the retail scene.....
