We all know that politicians are ego masters - looking after self, upwardly Mobile more than most, but, just occasionally they do rise to a higher plane and when hey do they should be admired for it. Why doesn't Abbott follow Gillard's example. Recognise that the party is doomed under his leadership, do the right thing and step aside to allow someone who is capable/acceptable to run the show.
