Indonesia would not be that far away either because since Indonesia and Papua New Guinea are in our neck of the woods they give a dam about this region so on the basis of nearology they have cause to give a dam about the well being in this area more so than others.

You have a short memory of the distrust and despair brought on by the NZ PM, Jacinda Ardern, who whenever she graced a stage for a joint AU-NZ announcement, always allowed our leader to speak kindly of her, lauding lavish statesmanlike praise of her and her mob, only to witness Ardern follow on by viciously stabbing PM Morrison in the back and leaving no doubt that she and NZ are not our allies any more.
