Not sure what the plans for Ridley are Nose but as it stands, the ore would get to Utah Point via the slurry pipeline, then be de-watered and stockpiled. I think it would be the same setup for Anketell. The water itself is a valuable resource and one that FMG are apparently very interested in. It could be used in Port Hedland or piped back to Balla Balla for re-use but I reckon they'd be crazy not to sell it because the underground aquifers recharge and it's there in abundance.
Also, I think Twiggy's goal of 355 mtpa with 3 or 4 years is clearly aimed at tying up capacity at Anketell. It's just not realistic IMHO. The Japanese and BHP are also said to be close to agreement on iron ore prices. I have no idea what the increase might be but 30 per cent looks to be a very conservative estimate. That's the figure Hartleys quoted in re-valuing Atlas at $3.34. A 50% rise would put it at $4.24. Vale in Brazil is pushing hard for a 90% increase!
