I dont know if its relevant, but my family has held land at Balla Balla for about 35 years. There is NOTHING there, and rates have been minor to say the least. Over the last couple of years that has changed, with 1 year a 100% increase in rates. This is all information that i have recieved from my grandma. Surely that rise wouldnt happen if something wasnt going to eventuate? I know it forced a few people to sell their land.
