No, Causes investors to panic as they are regulating the market more and generally it will keep going.
You cant really control the market best to let it work itself out.
Shorter's have to cover at some point and believe me i know some have been getting burnt.
Another interesting point is that many people were shorting up and having to keep covering and that would have helped that April rally so they aren't all that bad
