I have NO doubt that in this present climate, there will be major consolidation in the mining industry as PE's are starting to look cheap again.
Therefore, I STRONGLY believe that before too long, TMR will be acquired by the likes of a OXR/ZFX, PNA etc as this thing is just way too cheap and the forward earning based on fundamentals alone, look amazing!!!
The other possibility is that HC may too be looking at further acquisitions at the moment himself. However, due to the current credit crisis I cant see TMR being able to raise a lot of money but something in the vicinity of <$200mil I believe would be a possibility. There are a host of undervalued companies out there that perhaps HC could be looking at but some that come to mind quickly are CUO, HRR, SRK, CBH, PEM, NGF, PSA etc
Either way, these prices are UNBELIEVABLY CHEAP and we will all make a KILLING in the not too distant future imho!!!
Any thoughts regarding the above???
