Nope I don't buy it. Are these the same guys who got the inside information and ran it up from 17c to 34c? Obviously not because there was no positive inside information. It was punters/speculators taking a position in case of a Cudenco type find. The stock nearly doubled in value in the lead up to the preliminary results and it would only be expected that some of them decided to take some profit. As it turned out they did the right thing.
