adwebster...........we've had fears of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac going bankrupt. To me this suggests the crisis has hit the top. Only thing worse is if the governments are not able to issue any more bonds.

Yet gold did not rally on the news.

Crisis might still take a bit of time but this does not mean gold will start surging. It had its chances.
