The seismic shot by OEL is not "shallower" (as in penetration depth) than BHPP's, just a different surface area. BHPP's grid extends further into shallower water, a bit further into deeper water, not as far SW as OEL, but a lot further NE up the coastline (total = 3 x the size of the OEL shoot). The vessel engaged for the BHPP shoot was a top class seismic vessel ("Ramform Explorer"), so the seismic should be high quality.
