will Chesapeake take out ssn?

If we are going to speculate about this let's look logically at why Chesapeake might do this.

My thinking goes like this........

If Chesapeake were interested in SNN the logical time to strike would have been at the time of the land sale. That's simply because the cost then would have been a lot less than today.

Chesapeake have literally 100's of thousands of acres of oil prospective land. Because of SNN's relatively small acreage maybe a joint venture would be a more interesting and cost effective deal for Chesapeake.

Let's put it this way...........if you were Chesapeake what would be your reasons for taking out SSN?
