After years of preparation, Israel launches major offensive against Iran and its nuclear program
Israel has long been the leading recipient of U.S. foreign aid, including military assistance. That aid has come under heightened scrutiny amid Israel’s conflicts with Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran.
Israel also has a few hundred nuclear weapons. Given how unhinged Netanyahu’s been lately, if Iran’s response turned out to actually be effective in damaging Israel’s ability to continue waging a war against Hezbollah and Hamas, I expect Israel would nuke Iran.
