Will China shut down these wet markets?

    These wet markets are virus breeding grounds. Global opinion is clear on this and the types of creatures prone to animal to human transmissions are well known. If I am not mistaken the Avian bird flu and SARs also traced back to these markets , and now we have a new virus type. Chinese government is really going to have to do something about them, immediately, not just a temporary closure of a few for disinfection, but the whole darn lot. Policing them with stricter regulations is not an answer... Or do we wait for yet another virus crisis.
