Don't know about the mandate mentioned. As far as I am concerned the prospectus states they are tradeable on the ASX and expire on the due date. Pretty straight forward.
What the ESI ANN says to me is if you want to sell your oppies check with me first I may be able to give you a better price than on the day.
Together with the company assisted purchases on OPPY issue, we are trying to have a sizeable holding for a cornerstone investor, without increasing the number of shares on issue.
As I have once posted 1000 OBs could be worth heaps on expiry.
All IMO. trying to read between the lines
