If the DOW goes to 3000 then you can bet on at least 30 - 40% unemployment rate in most countries around the world, real estate prices around the world would crashing, banks would not lend to anyone because no ones job would be safe and the Great Depression of the 1930's would seem small compared to what would lay ahead. I know that if I lost my job I would loose my house and that is the same with nearly every person I know my age. I hope for the sake of everyone that it does not get that bad, but the current crises has knocked me beyond belief and truthfully nothing surprises me anymore.
