No matter how much you love FMG they are likely to run into
trouble in 2017 if the likes of Goldman and UBS forecast for Iron Ore come to fruition.
Its not a question of love, its a question of how management handles issues.
You are assuming that the management will just sit on their hands and do nothing? Not exactly their record, and not realistic. What did they do last time Fe fell heavily?
Both Golden Sacks and UBS have appalling prediction records. Both have many clients who missed out on a fortune by following their consistently bearish advice when FMG was a a few cents.
Bearish predictions are always a safe bet, because if they come true, they are the messiah, but if they don't the euphoria of a rising market quickly erases the memory.
If you want to raise money to launch a new company, or set up a fund, Golden Sacks may be your answer. But as for predictions...sorry.
