Agree, with MXR they have lost 75%.
With BHP and RIO they would have been a bit better off, they have dropped approx 60%. Do you call BHP and RIO running after the bad?
I can grab quite a lot of other good companies they could have invested in; these would have lost 85-95%.
With Gold prices (in aussie dollars) the gold sector is looking for a huge rebound.

The large gold project will come in time. This project will apprecite MXR's share price by many folds.
FMS, MXR and all the market will appreciate strongly in prices when the overall mining sectors will appreciate; not when HC non-shareholders are speaking cr**.
BTW - you asked about cost per ounce. Go and have a look on the website - atm it is in trial mining. And the gold nuggets (which the have plenty of) are selling at a 40% premium.
