It really seems that we are at a real tug of war point. Will we or will we not break the psychological barrier of the next important point on the charts.
I have decided what should be done if I was AT and co.
I would announce a $100 million dollar buyback and place it all on a buy at $1.50. That is we only buy back at that price point.
Any manipulator that wants to try and break the chart will have a beautiful wall of resistance.
Do the shorters spend over $100mil to try and push the price even further? Not a chance. The sign will be this is the endpoint. If you want to make money shorting, guess what the price is not going any lower for you to buy back cheaper. Either buy back the shares you need or continue to rent them as long as you want. All the chartists will then see the price ain't going any lower, so where else can the price go?
This would send a signal and you know what management probably would only get a chance to buy back $1-2mil in stock at best until the message was received. That other $99-98mil can go back into doing more productive things.
War games at its best!
Have a great long weekend all.
