One thing that appears absolutely correct from the BAL update is that there are a number of competitors who have completely failed to crack into the market ( e.g. blackmores and nature's way)
A quick scan on taobao shows that they are already discounting heavily yet selling ZERO units. Chinese consumers aren't price sensitive in this category - it seems quality/brand > discounts..
I doubt that further dumping and discounting of these failed brands in itself will have a notable impact.
