if and when the sharemaket tanks, gold and silver shares also tanks. that is why i have half my gold and silver investments in leveraged silver, namely lsil agq and hzu. if and when the market tanks, i will switch from gold and silver shares into the above etfs, if and only if the price of gold and silver is holding up.
not withstanding such, i think silver mining share will hold up, reguardless of what the sharemarket does next time round.
