in 1974 gold and property soared whilst just about all stocks crashed. inflation was very high.
now inflation is low.
if the market crashes (can´t see a real sustainable reason quite honestly at this time) the goldies will sell their gold and buy stocks.
if the euro breaks up, imo, the mkts will soar.
why ? ........... the uncertainty GONE !
the mkts are holding up pretty well considering.
more evidence, that when, not if, the euro goes as we know it then any money left in pockets will find it´s way into stocks.
bonds and cash are zero games once confidence is back.
gold and silver imo will be left behind in the stampede to buy stocks.
there´s still a sniff for a two way euro, which i am very much in favour of. my sums are done (too much for scribing here on hc) but merkel seems to have lost my phone no. lol.
