    I heard that spodumene can be directly used in ceramics and glass and former SOG produces majority of it.

    I have been told that spodumene is in high demand, while lithium carbonate usually is produced from salt lake brines in South America, and in near future, China (Two Australia companies, one is ADY, the the other is ORE. Both in Argentina could be the potential lithium carbonate and potash producer)
