Keep in mind that partners are not going to be looking at prices as of now when considering investing. they'll be looking at what oil prices will do across the course of 2023-2033. Yes prices were higher 3 months ago but largely irrelevant to a partner - it takes at least 3 months to drill, let alone the due diligence process that can take months, so those prices would never have been realised.
oil has sustained +$100 quite easily, and I expect will do over the course. Consolidation and accumulation is key here.
