IMU is one of the most heavily shorted stock on the ASX and has been increasing in recent time as well which is surprising given IMU will certainly be removed from the ASX200 after the rebalancing, are those other stocks as heavily shorted?
There's no doubt a MC valuation of $3.5B was way too high for a biotech start-up stock and now IMU simply need further significant clinical updates beyond they've started a new dosage or commencement which the market has been waiting nearing 12 months.
