I think in a way it makes sense psychologically. If the shareholders here look inward to the company and see the problems, then that is a reflection on them and their investment as well. Whereas by looking outward at grand conspiracies it is no longer their fault for making a poor investment. For example, a grand conspiracy by regulators, VISA and ASX to keep ISX from competing with them, even though it is plain as day ISX purchased into NSX months AFTER the suspension, and after ASIC has flatly refused the ISX assertion it is competition with ASX.
