Interesting thread but I've not seen anybody address the original topic. Personally I don't see many parallels with ABC Learning other than they are in the same industry. G8 have seen increased operating costs combined with lower than expected revenues. This has led to a downgrade in profits, hence the falling share price. Its all fairly transparent and not like the house of cards that Eddie built with ABC.
I bought in at $3.16 so the value of my holding is well down but their dividends have been quite decent over the past few years. I see no reason for any panic selling right now.
