    Selling 80,000 shares at 1.7 cents is = $1,360

    Selling 80,000 shares at 1.6 cents is = $1,280, a difference of $80

I'd say some unethical person who pays little brokerage bought one share at 1.7 cents to try and get the owner of the 80,000 lot of shares to sell down into the 1.6 buyers. If the 1.7 cent seller sells at 1.6 cents, they will lose $80 but pay brokerage only once. If they do not sell down the same day, which they didn't, they will now have to pay brokerage twice.

I'd say the culprit may be the buyer next in line at 1.6 cents.

If that is the case, then ASX should be able to find who did this and I personally feel they should be called to account and legislation written if it does not already exist to discourage such disgraceful actions in the future.
