However I'll throw in my 2 cents worth FWIW.

When the SPP was announced the SP was 60 - 70c. Lots of punters bought $500 worth of stock so that they could participate in the SPP. Unfortunately for them the SP weakened back to below 50c, so I am guessing that most of them would have declined to put in their application in the SPP. Hence I think we will only see about 50 million shares issued under the SPP. The sweetener in the SPP was a free option for every 2 shares subscribed for. However the oppies are not that attractive in that they have a short time frame and a high exercise price - so not really much of a sweetener at all.

Now you would not buy MAK shares in the SPP just to sell them when you get them at the same price. Hence I think most of those participating in the SPP will hang onto their shares and wait for a much higher price as MAK's story unfolds or keep them long term.
