If you tender for something and cost go up you pay the cost.
The only additional cost are if you make modifications or something is forgotten in the tender.
We did not have to pay anything for costs going up in tender the tenderer make allowances for cost increases.


Do you believe that tenders can be changed for costs overrun why have tender anyway
every one would just put in a cheap price.

The cost overrun's were due to paying top dollar when supply was constrained. It's really not rocket science we were building this thing as gas was going nuts with WA offshore & QLD CSG coming online. It has slowed considerably since then & hence prices are cheaper!
