Excerpt from article "Watchdogs growl at AMI" in the Australian today:
"The ASX, too, was taking a tough stand with Mr McCrae and his company, suggesting AMI's shares might remain in a trading halt beyond today as sensational drilling results are assessed.
The ASX yesterday received a revised disclosure from AMI on its latest drilling results - after bringing in an independent geologist to examine the original draft - but by last night still had not released the new version and was giving no timeline for its release and the restart of trading in AMI.
"It is the ASX's highest and most immediate priority that no security can be traded unless the market is sufficiently informed," a spokesman said. He said AMI trading would resume only when that information was acceptable."
