For what it's worth here's the relevant snippet from their conclusion re. SGW:

"n 2004 our profit forecast has been reduced from $31.7 million to $23.1 million. For 2005 our profit forecast has been reduced from $39.7 million to $30.4 million. With uncertainty as to future strategic direction remaining we have maintained our Sell rating."

I might add, just to balance things out, that they had a sell recommendation on Woodside at around $15.00 (which I fortunately ignored).

Just goes to show that "analysts" can get it horribly wrong sometimes.

When it comes down to it, one has to use the proverbial 'grain of salt", do one's own homework ... and live with the consequences.
